EPDM rubber is a synthetic rubber, is widely used in industrial fields. EPDM rubber is acid and alkali resistant. EPDM rubber is a copolymer of ethylene, propylene and a small amount of non-conjugated diene. Because its main chain is composed of chemically stable saturated hydrocarbons, and only the side chain contains unsaturated double bonds, it has excellent aging resistance, resistencia a ozono, ultraviolet radiation, water resistance and adverse environmental conditions. The material surface is waterproof, has good wear resistance, and performs well in contact with alkali, dilute acid and ketone and other chemical substances. EPDM rubber is often used in pipeline seals, juntas, seals and casing.
