The requirements for the construction of rubber sheeting roll are as follows:preparing the substrate,using suitable construction methods,ensuring uniform adhesion between the sheeting and the substrate,and providing a protective layer,among others.

1.Preparing the substrate:The waterproof substrate must be solid,level,干净的,干燥,and free of dust and oil.The corners of the substrate should be rounded or triangular,with the radius of the circular corner being greater than 20mm.The roof’s drainage slope,division joints,and ventilation holes should be handled according to design requirements.

2.Using the full-coverage method,strip-coverage method,point-coverage method,or floating-coverage method,depending on the specifics of the project.

3.Adhering the sheeting to the substrate:The substrate and the adhered portion of the sheeting should be uniformly coated with substrate adhesive,and the surface should be allowed to dry before adhering.

4.Before applying the joint adhesive to the overlapping portion of the sheeting,the overlapping portion should be wiped with a cotton ball soaked in the appropriate diluted solvent.After the joint adhesive has dried,the overlapping portion should be firmly adhered and pressed flat,and then struck with a rubber mallet to ensure a tight seal.

5.Additional layers should be applied at joints as per design requirements.The additional layers can be made of sheeting or polyurethane paint.

6.If a protective layer is required,an isolation layer is usually needed,and the sheeting can be coated with a protective coating to extend its service life and provide insulation and heat resistance.
