SBR rubber sheet, as a high molecular material product mainly made of SBR rubber, has widespread applications in industrial and civil fields. Its heat resistance is one of its important performance indicators, directly related to the application range and service life of SBR rubber sheet.

1. Physical properties of SBR rubber sheet
SBR rubber sheet has excellent wear resistance and high hardness, and can work stably within the temperature range of 0~+60℃, which indicates that it is suitable for various environments, from cold storage to tropical areas. However, as with any material, this temperature range defines the safe operating boundary of SBR rubber sheet. Exceeding this range, especially at higher temperatures, may cause a reduction in material performance.

2.How to ensure that SBR rubber sheet can also play its due role in high temperature environment

For example, adopting a design with fabric or metal frame layers not only enhances the overall strength of the sheet, but also may help dissipate heat due to the excellent thermal conductivity of metal, thereby reducing the impact of high temperature on butyl rubber.
SBR rubber sheets are widely used in various fields due to their excellent comprehensive performance.
Although the standard product’s maximum allowable temperature is 60°C, we can expand its application temperature range by reasonably modifying materials, designing structures, and selecting colors, enabling it to better serve human society.
