The physical and mechanical properties of insulating rubber sheet are good, and it has excellent insulation performance. When producing insulating rubber sheet, there will be some errors, so what is the thickness tolerance standard for insulating rubber sheet? Today, Jingdong Rubber, a professional rubber sheet manufacturer, will answer this for you.
The thickness error of insulating rubber sheet is generally within ±0.05mm, and if higher precision products are required, the error range should be within ±0.03mm. Therefore, when inspecting the thickness of insulating rubber sheet, attention should be paid to the precision and error range of the inspection tools to avoid incorrect judgments due to low tool precision.
Processing and forming of insulating board:
The upper and lower surfaces of the insulating board shall not have harmful irregularities. Harmful irregularities refer to features that destroy uniformity, such as small holes, cracks, local bulges, cuts, mixed conductive foreign matter, folds, gaps, ridges and valleys, and casting marks. Benign irregularities refer to surface irregularities formed in the production process.
Scope of use and storage method of insulating rubber sheet:
It is widely used in substations, power plants, distribution rooms, laboratories, and on-site live work. It should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment, away from heat sources, at least 20cm above the ground and walls. Avoid acid, alkali, oil pollution, and direct sunlight.
Strengthen personnel ground insulation with special rubber-made rubber sheet. Insulating rubber sheet is also known as insulating rubber mat, insulating rubber mat, insulating carpet, insulating rubber mat, etc. Rubber mat has a large volume resistivity and electrical insulation. It is made of non-polar rubber with excellent insulation properties such as NR, SBR, IIR, etc. It is used as a desktop or insulating material for workplaces such as power distribution.
