Heat proof rubber sheet is a special type of functional material that is widely used in industrial production and high-end technology fields. It is not an ordinary rubber product but a product that achieves special properties through scientific material ratios and processing techniques. Its core raw materials mainly include high-performance synthetic materials such as fluororubber and silicone rubber, which themselves have excellent thermal stability.

During the production process, technicians perform plasticizing processing on the raw rubber to improve its plasticity, making it easier to add various compounding agents in the subsequent steps. In the mixing stage, carbon black, vulcanization accelerators, and other additives are evenly dispersed in the rubber matrix to form a composite rubber compound with specific functions.Through calendering, the rubber compound is combined with reinforcing fiber fabrics to form semi-finished products, and then undergoes high-temperature vulcanization to obtain the final product’s high elasticity. This multi-level manufacturing process ensures the material’s homogeneity and structural integrity.

From a physical parameter perspective, the typical product’s density is maintained between 1.6 and 1.8,with a tensile strength of up to 3.5 MPa and an elongation at break exceeding 250%.
It is particularly notable that its oxygen index is no less than 28,indicating that the material itself has good flame retardant properties, which can delay combustion when exposed to fire and self-extinguish when the flame is removed. The hardness index is controlled within the range of 75±5 degrees, ensuring necessary support strength while maintaining moderate flexibility.

For different application scenarios, the product specifications vary significantly.
For conventional industrial uses such as equipment sealing gaskets,a thickness of 5-8 mm is commonly used, while for special conditions involving high-temperature pipeline connections,8-10 mm thickened plates are required. This differentiated design is based on the material science principle that as the environmental temperature increases, the activity of rubber molecular chains intensifies, leading to an increase in hardness and a decrease in extensibility. Therefore, thickness must be increased to compensate for the mechanical loss at high temperatures.

The application scenarios of this material cover multiple key areas.
In the petrochemical industry,it is used as a sealing liner for reaction vessels;in the aerospace field, its flame retardant properties are utilized to make cabin insulation layers;and in the power system, its insulating performance ensures the safe operation of equipment.Additionally,it can play a shock-absorbing and buffering role in high-temperature environments, such as serving as a vibration-proof base for heavy machinery.

The performance advantages of the product are reflected in multiple dimensions.
In addition to the basic high-temperature resistance,it also has excellent oil resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength. Some specially formulated products can even work stably in strong acid and strong alkali environments for a long time, making them irreplaceable in the anti-corrosion inner lining of chemical equipment. At the same time, the material’s damping characteristics make it an ideal noise control component, widely used in noise reduction projects in factory workshops.
